A new year is an opportunity to introduce new products to our shelves at Southbourne Farm Shop, and 2021 is no exception. Recent additions include Sourdough Bites from Peter's Yard, a flavoursome alternative to crisps that are baked rather than fried, with under 100kcal per serving and have 60% less fat than regular potato crisps. Doisy & Dam's Dark Chocolate Ballers & Dark Chocolate Drops are vegan sweet treats, made from natural ingredients and ethically sourced Colombian cocoa. In a similar vein, another ethically-sourced chocolate range - Tony's Chocolonely - have launched their Easter range, which includes this cute egg box of mini eggs pictured below. The next couple of weeks will see more Easter products added to our range.

We also now stock the Wilton London range of cleaning products: botanical, eco-friendly plant-based cleaning for your home, with natural scents that can give your surfaces and your clothing an amazing refresh. The range is made using recycled and recyclable plastic bottles, and all formulas are biodegradable, without animal-testing, and registered with

the Vegan Society.

These new products (and more) will be featured in our February e-newsletter, which will be sent to recipients soon. If you haven't already registered for our mailing list, you can do so via the link below. Register for our email mailing list

2021 has arrived, and although we are still very much in the thick of it nationwide with the Coronavirus, let us hope that as 2021 progresses that the situation improves. We are open as usual, and continuing to operate our Home Delivery service for people aged 70 order over, with underlying health conditions, or having to self-isolate. We also offer a food collection service, which is available to everyone. More information on our Food Ordering Service can be found via the link below.

The coming week will bring a return of many of our products, after the limbo period between Christmas and New Year. Artisan bread returns on Tuesday 5th January, as does Johnsons Fishmongers. We are generally not having difficulties sourcing any of our usual products, despite the pandemic and the turmoil of Brexit.

If you would like to be added to our monthly e-newsletter, there is a link below. We also post regular updates on Twitter and Instagram.

Happy new year to all our customers and suppliers.

Thank you to all our customers for shopping with us during this unusual year, that has been a challenge for everyone. We hope that you are able to have an enjoyable Christmas, despite the limitations that we are all under. Thank you also to our incredible suppliers, who have done an amazing job of keeping us stocked up throughout the pandemic. We are grateful to our staff too, for always offering service with a smile. Please remember to follow us on Twitter and Instagram for the latest Farm Shop updates (links below).

We had all sort of exciting plans for the shop this year that we had to put on hold, but hopefully we can proceed with these plans next year. Merry Christmas, and here's hoping for a brighter 2021!
